I bought this a few weeks ago, and I'm just having a little fiddle of it now. Quite impressive, even has the new A28 motorway!!

Paid 40 quid for it, which isn't bad seeing as it retails at around 90 in the shops. Should be relatively easy to get there with it.

Anyone else using TomTom software to get there?

Yeah, I'll be using a TT 700 but the closest location to the Houx camp site I can find is the airport, so I guess I'll have to wing it from there unless anybody has an address I can punch in.

I'll be using TomTom Navigator 5 with my PDA. Looking at the France map I can see the whole of the circuit at quite large scale. I don't know about TT 700s but I can add a POI (Point Of Interest) on the map - say Expo car park - and navigate to it from Boulogne.

Thats interesting. I'll have a play with it tonight (the Tom Tom I mean). The French Map is on the internal hard drive. I must read the instructions for it one of these days.

Is it a big grey outline? And is the airport in the middle?

Zoomed in I can see the track as a dashed white/pink line with the names of roads e.g Rue Juan manuel Fangio and also the roundabouts on Mulsane with E502/N138. I can clearly see the Dunlop Curves etc. though they're not named.

The airport appears between the N23R and D139.

search for town=le mans, street = Chemin Aux Boeufs. i went for house number 1 ...its as close as any to the entrance....

Sad i know but have it set up as home location already (well it is that weekend) plus POI for the essentials...speed cameras, cash points, garages and supermarkets...

Thanks for that, I found it, was looking at a big grey rectangular thing that looked like the track, then saw the white roads with purple lines outlining pretty much the whole of the circuit!

That will get you close enough but on the wrong side of the circuit, just follow the signs for 'Parking Vert' as soon as you pick them up. This will take you under the track at the top of the Mulsanne to the inner circuit. Pass the Stella Bar on your right if its still there, follow the road round past Parking vert, Houx Annexe then turn right into Houx.

We'll be there from early Thursday afternoon somewhere on your right opposite the TVR owners club, drop by for a cold one !

Thanks Ross and Obi. Got it programmed in under Favorites now. Even found that big supermarket, Carsomethingorother, and also put that in. (first stop after the tent is up)

Where is this available for £40? Sounds like a good investment to me!

Wow that is a good price. Been looking at this for the TT Go 500 but couldn't quite bring myself to part with cash yet. Where did you get it for that price?
