Yup, love the stuff - it's always worked well for me.
Here's what I do:
1. Clean windscreen;
2. Apply plenty of Rain-x using a dry cloth;
3. Leave for a few minutes to 'fog';
4. Apply another coat of Rain-x;
5. Leave for a few minutes more;
6. Use a plant spray to spray water on the windscreen;
7. Rub with a slightly damp cloth; and
8. Polish with kitchen roll.

I found that it worked great on my old corrado, at pretty much any speed. It worked well enough to not need to use the windscreen wipers anymore....which is just as well as they were crap due to a cock-up at the design stage.
anyway, same stuff on the Chim and not nearly the same result. I'm thinking it must be the actual velocity of air past the windscreen. I find with plenty on it's ok but then there's just more to remove and deposit somewhere elsewhere on the car.
I'm going to apply as suggested earlier and see what happens.
all the best

It makes a different how fast you are going.
It also makes a difference how well you have prepared the screen and thus how clean it is before you start. Also to get it working well you need to be putting on about 5 coats leaving each one to dry for about 5 minutes.
If you do that it should work well. On my Tuscan I found that at motorway speeds I got better visibility without using wipers at all!

I've used the Wynn's equivalent (found it in a cupboard in my garage - must have bought it > 5 years ago!). Applied exactly same as Nuggs. Light rain starts to bead/run at 40mph - once over 50, no more wipers.
Extra bonus though - assume this stuff essentially fills in all the pits on the screen to make smooth - my ultra crap typical Chim wipers that almost stop unless the screen is really wet now work fine even on a mildly damp screen due to less friction.
So a definite
from me.

I have found to work well on all my cars. Its great on the Chimara.
Key thing is to prepare the windscreen with a proper "glass cutter" first to get every last bit of crap off and then to apply two layers of RainX and polish it up really well.
After that the windcreen stays clean for ages and the water just runs off it.
The best use, though, I have found to be on the side windows. Keeps them really clear...
