Just collected after re-trim

So I picked up my 993 from Southbound yesterday following a partial retrim - absolutely delighted, it looks fantastic, and since they also replaced the seat base in the driver's seat its more comfy as well.

Well I either I have £*&% written across my forhead as they have done three jobs for me, each has taken over two months (estimated 2 weeks) and each had to be done again because of poor workmanship or I'm overly fussy, I'll go check in the mirror.

Was looking at doing similar on my 964 - maybe reconnolising the front seats and changing the front carpets. Have been recommended southbound before too - heard the quality is very good

From memory the invoice lists:
Front and rear seats in full leather (previously part leather, mostly vinyl)
Centre console in leather
Handbrake in leather
Replace driver's seat base (ie the foam inner)
Remove and re-install seat heating elements (not sure if this was just for the driver's seat)

Cost 2K including VAT

I decided not to replace the gear lever gaiter - as I thought the "used" patina was more appropriate - so they cleaned and treated the original. They also adjusted the handbrake which was previously right at the top of its travel (though presumably it had to come off anyway).

Do Southbound charge hourly labour rates or fixed price deals? Out of the 2k, how much was labour vs parts? Quality looks good, but deffo "not cheap" to me...

Generally each item is a fixed price, ie the seats (f&r) were one price, the centre console another. So I can't really break it down. I would suggest giving them a call.

And I'm with Keith - it certainly wasn't "cheap" but I don't think it was over-priced.
