Electric window switches

Can anyone tell me what the electric window switches in the S3 are from? (big rectangular jobbies) - or suggest an alternative replacement...?

As far as I know they are off a TR7.Im thinking of replacing mine with some from a Granada,seeing as I have had a pair knocking round in my desk of a year or so,thats if I can find a dealer that has a Throttle pot in stock so I can get back on the raod again.

These guys do TR7 parts, but only have window winder handles listed, no electric window switches. It might be worth emailing them with a picture of the switch and asking them to confirm whether it is a TR7 item.

You can get them from Rimmer Bros if you have problems, you may find your local motor factors or Rover dealer has some.

I thought it was the heater/fog light etc switches on the later cars that were from a TR7. Whilst I do not profess to being a boffin on TR7's I have not seen any before with leccy windows, so would be surprised if they were from one of them.

My old man has a TR7 which he is trying to flog (1 owner from new and 37k miles BTW - see adverts for details ) and the switches for lights etc on that look the same as those for heater etc on later S's.
