i have an old OMP Integrale Formula helmet which is SA95 compliant and thus no longer approved for MSA national events but what do i do with it? is it worth trying to sell but stating all this in the advert?, thinking that someone might want it for indoor karting etc or is there any copany that could use it for imapct testing or something?

ebay!

Our driver purchased a Simpson helmet a couple of years ago for £150, it sat on the shelf for a year, did a seasons racing then went out of spec. So it was sold on ebay.. for £180!

worth a squirt.

you could give it to your local fire brigade/paramedics/st johns ambulance or something for training with

i wouldn't buy a second hand lid, so i don't think i would sell one

fire brigade isnt a bad idea. given it is not going to pass scrutineering, i wouldnt expect anybody to be using it for anything serious hence I have put it up for sale on the classifieds here saying it would be useful for arrive and drive karting etc. somebody might want it for that as the helemts you get at karting centres are really crap and are very grim inside...
