944 s2 sunroof

i was wondering if someone out there can give me some help when i retract the locking arms to release my sun roof the drive continues and unwinds the cable thus resulting in having to pull the sun roof apart to reinstall any one able to help

Sounds like you need to reset the roof...

Along with everything else you'll ever need to do with the car. Top tip, while you have the roof out get some strimmer wire or such like and clean out your drain holes!
