One or two of you with a better memory than I may recall a discussion about music and stuff like that, where I outed myself as being the bass player in a band.

Well, our CD is nearly done, and we've nailed a fledgeling web page onto the InterWorldWideInformationSuperWeb for you all to see and poke at. No CD ordering or stuff like that, yet, but we're getting there, gradually.

So, if you're interested, get thee to www.stryngs.com and download some MP3 or Windows Media clips of our songs.

Feedback is welcome, except if it's to tell me the web page sucks. I know the web page sucks - I wrote it. 'k?

Very pleasant.. I expect you'll soon get tired with people comparing the sound & vocalisation with Beth Orton..

So I thought I'd better mention it now..

No problem with that at all - very flattering in fact. Hell, she's got a record deal, so perhaps there's hope for us yet :-)

Excellent! You might find the easiest way to sell CDs is on eBay - you can do a dutch auction with a fixed price, I think. Set yourself up a PayPal account and you can accept credit cards!

Let us know if you do it - I'll buy a copy!

PayPal will just accept payment on your behalf with none of the auction malarkey being necessary, so I was just going to do it that way.

Seems like the least amount of hassle, and a fairly cheap way to take credit cards.

Thanks for the feedback folks.

True, but ebay gives a confidence factor for many users - i.e. there is a guarantee against sellers who don't deliver anything. (not that I'm suggesting you wouldn't deliver!)
