Gallardo SE spotted

Saw an SE yesterday in central London. Spotted the fact it was an SV by the amazing new wheels. It was orange with gun-metal wheels, German plates.

At idle it was almost silent, under (fairly brisk) accelleration, the noise was truly violent! I've never heard a road car like it!!!

Sure it's the same car I've seen around the back of Harrods/Kings Road a few times

It's got a German M reg

But I thought it was just an 06 Gallardo not an SE (although I've always been driving so didn't get a good look)

The SE is pretty distinctive, pian black roof, glass engine cover with piano black surround and piano black wing mirrors, plus black around the front air intakes. Only 16 UK RHD cars, so a rare sight. What colour was it?

There was an orange one near to me the other week (Grosvenor Sq) - on foreign plates with the black roof, different wheels and 'distinctive' (to say the least) soundtrack.

Forgot to post this a while back, an SE, LHD in silver with black wheels outside coys of kensington, being revved by a young chap before he pulled out and disappeared. Had a rear wing as well. Soubded awesome.

I think I saw this one at lunchtime on Picadilly. Sounded awesome - not sure about the wing though.
