how loud

firstly what are the standard decibel readings for factory exhausts on all the tvr range and what is the loudest recorded. Do you know how loud your aftermarket exhaust is in decibels.

for example say a tuscan is 98 decibels standard what is yours now ? IS 110 Possible

Loud enough to annoy the neighbours at 6am on a Sunday.

Chimaera 4.0 with sports exhaust alteration: 105dB idle, 115dB at 4000rpm (not under load). Measured at Goodwood.

I was clocked at 128db at peninsula-tvr and then at Spa, when on full de-cat sports exhaust etc.
basically thru pipes!

now at 112db...so that i can get on some Tracks!!!!

My old 4.0 ltr Chim with sleeved pipes was 188 DB, my Tuscan also has sleeved pipes and it was 120DB last time we checked it. (@ the clay pidgeon shoot)

So as somebody else said if you only got 110DB then you ain't trying!

My sound system in my range rover runs at 169db.... luvly!!!

Yer some sound system in cars can go upto 150+dbs.. they dont damange your ears unless you are right next to them with your ear up agaisnt it.
