Drivers window not fully closing?

My drivers window doesnt fully close.Ive got about an inch gap from the top.Is there any adjustment in the door?

That's a problem with the sensor microswitch in the door mate.

his car is a 96, it might not have the microswitches - the early cars didn't. It was a tvr mod to cure this very problem .. I have a solution if you want to pm me through my profile.

Mine sometimes stops about half an inch from the top. If inside the car, I just wind it up further using the button. If outside, it rises the rest of the way when I set the alarm. Seems easier to live with it than start messing around, IMHO.

If my window is too low when I shut the door then my window doesn't reach the top either.

Can also happen due to dirty contacts for the motor. Take the door insert out and clean the contacts up can often provide the "missing" power to sort the window out.
