Puzzled as to the MG entries, ok the cars are good racers and have been built and ready to race but apart from being moving advertising boards they are hardly going to sell cars.

MGs will be selling RAC membership (especially if the Judd-built 2.0l K-series hasn't had it's head gasket uprated )

James Thompson and Darren Turner are actually sharing the second Seat Leon.

Thompson will drive at Brands Hatch (April), Mondello Park, Oulton Park, Croft, Snetterton and Silverstone, while Turner will drive at Thruxton, Donington, Knockhill and Brands Hatch (September).

What's James Thompson got going on for the races he's missing? Other series commitment?

I'll recline in front of the TV with several beers for this one.

I'm not trailing all the way to Brands for anything on the Indy Circuit again. Ever.

Too many beer-swilling tossers in close proximity. At least on the GP loop you can get out in the wilds and enjoy the cars.

And it's even worse outside the corporate hospitality boxes.

Can't wait. Going down Saturday afternoon & camping. First race for me this year, maybe winters over now!

As for the MG's, I guess it shows not just how competitive the car still is, but how much money there isn't in motorsport that a 5(ish) year old car with no manufacturer backing is still there. (Also, the car is running the front end from a Mk2 and the back from a Mk1 -which might be because it looks best like that anyway).
