Hope they offer some alternative, otherwise I'll be going elsewhere.

We looked at this last week.
It's a massive chunk of Javascript using hundreds of inline Iframes.
And needs a fair old chunk of client CPU........

Our companies product is also very JS rich and we are re-enginnering it returning to as close as script free as possible. Really made us sit up to find a company as large as Yahoo is going the other direction. Yup - we identified all the key weaknesses in Yahoo that we have in our own product. Good luck to their customer support, they'll need it - unless it's all premium rate phone support in which case - thieving money grabbing toe-rags

I signed up to the beta about 3 weeks ago, but don't have in 'invite' yet. Do you have any? Or does it not work like that?

I got the beta invitation last week - didn't sign up for anything though

Much better than the old version but it takes ages to load in sometimes

Did any of you guys used to have a RocketMail account? That's what mine used to be before Yahoo took them over. Yahoo's ok, but has that stigma attached to it like Hotmail. Rocketmail was totally unknown.

That'll be on it's way soon too, or so I understand, I hear on the grapevine that the uptake has been huge for this product.

Got it this morning....

It's pretty cool I guess, but I'd got so used to the simple old style interface I'm not sure if I care.

Also, for some reason I get pop access to my yahoo account, even though it's only supposed to be a feature if you pay for yahoo plus! Bonus eh.
