I am currently doing some research into Noble's website and I wondered if anyone had any opinions of it they would care to share....

Specifically, has it helped or hindered the buying process in any way? Has anyone bought a Noble because of the site? - or had their intended purchase facilitated by it?

Also, was anyone able to find the site who was setting out to look for it? - was it easy to find in the search engines? - was the address memorable?

I haven't yet quoted the address of it: if anyone doesn't know they are at www.noblecars.com/

If anyone has any general comments about the site then I would be most interested to hear them!

Disclaimer:
No personal details will be used in this research: we are after qualitative comments and opinions only. If you are happy to do so, we MAY use comments - but only stripped of all info that could be used to identify you as an individual. Any comments would in any case only be used if and when you gave permission.

Here is mine

It definatly "sold" me the car.
URL was relativly easy to find (once I spelt Noble correctly in google )
Site is consise and to the point - but would be helped by
a) real pictures of colours as well as the colour chart (ala Nick Adams did for the Lotus's)
b) popup about the M12 is a pain and should be in the main site
c) What is the flash "intro" all about??? I never get them.
d) What's the point of the flash menu - the HTML one looks just as good and does the job
e) Quicktime is a bad format for the movies on their own - offer mpg at least as well
f) Wallpaper was good - but you want 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 for all people's screens
g) More about Noble and what he has done would have given greater background to his cars
h) Why nothing on the M10 - Ok he only sold 9 or so and it looked a bit iffy - but it was still a fantastic car.
i) Put PDF's of the actual brochures (in screen (75), 300 and 600dpi version) on the site for people that want to print out the specs
j) Interiors - put the actual pictures in there
k) Options - nothing about them - shame.
l) Media links don't find the article - either quote it or get the link correct (just checking it's no longer there!)
m) Contact details - don't do them as a GIF - you can't cut and paste - use plain text - makes faxing etc easier.
n) Links - to PH, owners web sites, mailing lists etc.

err - I'll probably think of some more but that will do you.

You couldn't do much wrong to go and look at some of the major sport car manufacturers for some ideas (not that they are all good in themselves)

Hmmm.. I think Joust must have a job designing websites! - or at least giving detailed, informative reviews on them.......

That's most helpful: many thanks!

Anyone else?!
