hi has any other tvr owners had the same problem i have had a few times that once you get the car in reverse it is either very very hard to get out again or cannot get it out at all and have to turn the car off to take out of gear to then re-select first

I got stuck in reverse, and it was the beginnings of the end of the clutch. It could also be a leek on the slave cylinder.

Mines 52 too, and it went on about 20k miles.

Hope it's not this but it sounds similar.

Errr sorry, I meant a leak on the slave.

If you have got a leek in there then it could be that too, but that's less likely. (Unless you have been to Wales recently)

Sorry about that.

Still, if it is the slave you should be able to get it sorted, before the clutch takes the strain. Forewarned and all that.

Hope you get it sorted and that isn't the problem.

No one else had this happen to them?
