I've asked before about these Hong Kong based vendors and heard good things.

Has anyone used "Com2Buy" in Dudley (UK!) and been either happy or unhappy? If you want to avoid naming and shaming (i.e. you really want to vent some steam about 'em) you can always mail me through my profile.

They appear to be offering kit at a very decent price...

Yes. I used them for a lens and some bits and pieces for my D70S the other week. Turnaround was very quick, the goods were exactly as described and there were no problems. I'll certainly use them again.

The Dudley lot, that is. I won't be venturing anywhere near Hong Kong in the foreseeable future.

I bought a Canon TC-80N3 remote switch timer thingy from Com2Buy. Quick and painless enough.

The standard of English on their web-site is what was putting me off....thanks SGirl.

Any time. I think the guy running the outfit is Chinese (I can't check, I've deleted his e-mails!), so that would explain that. I don't know what he'd be like if there were a problem, but I've placed a couple of orders with him now and one of them was dispatched within about 10 minutes of payment.

used them for filters and my sigma teleconverter. would not use ebay for lenses or camera's though as I prefer to have back up.

Ive used them for a few items, the only problem i had was when i was charged a currency transfer fee on my visa relating to the sale, it turned out to be visas fault not the vendor.
I did pass lots of emails questioning him about the fee and he was extremely nice and very helpful
Id certainly deal again.....
good prices too..........
