If you only 2 miles in that year....not very much.
If you do 50000 miles in that year...quite a lot more.

Ok then. 6000 mile or one year service - £600 to £2000 depends if it is a 6k or a 12k and if things need doing.

Tyres 10k ish rears probably 15k front so say 2 tyres a year - £300-£400.

1/2 a set of brake pads £100 - £200 Unless you fit them yourself.

Maybe 1/3 of a clutch - £200-£400

Maybe 1/2 a Speed sensor and an oil sensor - £50

Oil and coolant - £50ish

Pair of gardening gloves - £5

Stuff I've forgotten - £100

So £1000ish to £3000+ depending on if there are any problems and where you get work carried out.

Worth every penny.

Mine will be a year old in June and to date the only money spent has been for petrol (approx. £390 to date) and insurance (£625). Mods have come to around £2800.00 so far though... At some point between now and June there will be the additional cost for the 6000/12mo service.

Sorry - that wasn't very clear.

If it is a 12k service and you need work done then it could come to £2000+

Not every service will be like that, clearly, but I was trying to give a realistic worst case.

However, If you can get a service for £250 then I think we need a S6indies thread.

£250!!!! Are they working for free??
I haven't yet had a service, 6 or 12K, that has come under the £1k mark!, and that's with nothing much extra needing doing!

Fair enough £2k i understand to be an absolute max. Yes mine came to £350 - £100 discount. However mine had only done 7k miles and needed only the folowwing -

a new oil pressure sender
oil change
diff change
tappets adjusted

So i guess mines an absolute minimum. in case youre wondering its torque rvt.

Avon 225-50ZR16 tyres come fitted with VAT for £170 a pair. I get about 27MPG from my Tamora. Not bad really. But I think you need to do a lot yourself if you want to keep the costs down.
