Having a few issues with PH today - pages not always linking, occasionally the "oops can't find this topic" page when I try to reply to something. (as well as "can't find this page" IE page when submitting a reply.

Also I'm getting "no new posts" when I do a "new posts in the last hour" link (i.e. www.pistonheads.com/gassing/whatsnew.asp?hrs=1 ).

Just seems slow and a bit 'odd'. Is it me or are you having a play with things Mr Ted?!

I remember. Something to do with the primary/secondary DB servers being out of step.

Had a few probs too, but keep refreshing and it sorts itself out.

Just went onto search facility... when did this all change to google? Is it permanent or temporary?

Edit: back to normal on search now

We revert to the Google search when I have to take the search server offline. I'm still trying to configure it to perform well.

An awful lot of "page not found" again. Would it just be increased use over lunch? Wasn't bad at all earlier on. IE6

yup noticied the same - also threads appearing / re-appearing between alternate refreshes of the 'whats new 3hrs' page, odd...

Yep, lunchtime usage has reached new highs and it's tipping us over the edge. I'm just trying to fine tune things now.
