Battery ??

Doh ! What a clothead. With the winter ending and the weather warming up, I thought it was high time I got Trevor our of hibernation. What a plonker I felt when on inspection I found, I`d left the battery connected for the whole period ! Dead as a dodo. Problem is, I can`t remember what battery type the TVR S2 uses. I suspect it`s either a Sierra or Granada. Would somebody put me straight ??! TA !

I only remember that its part number is "069" and that Halfords will tell you that it's discontinued - mind you they were also convinced art the same time that TVRs are made by Honda so what do they know?

I think it fits Ford Explorers or Mavericks or something.

You CAN still get 069 batteries - I was looking at some in Costco just 2 weeks ago - so a motor factor should be able to track one down with that number.

Try and get one with "lugs" on the bottom so the clamp acts as a clamp.... otherwise turn the clamp upside down as use it to as a wedge
