Found this video on Rennlist. http://coochas.com/porsche/Resources/
I hope it's not a repost.
It seems to have divided peoples opinion on whether the driver is actually any good ?
Not really the point of the video I know, but what are your thoughts on his car control/technique ?
To take the whole thing a stage further, how many people on here could put their hand up and say they could drive like this (or better ?)
To remove the "shouldn't be driving like that on a public road" brigade out of the equation, this would take place on a closed section of road etc etc.
You'd be allowed say ten practice passes at 50% of your intended speed. And for the sake of arguement the car would be supplied by Porsches publicity/press fleet.
How many of you reckon you could do this and keep it out of the scenery/armco and shiny side up without spinning ?

I couldn't even manage that on Playstation!

How on earth do these pro-drivers have the un-shakeable confidence in their abilities to even find out they can drive like that in the first place in such confined roadspace?

Total respect.

Car is jolly awesome as well.

He's not very fast, but then he's not trying to be, pretty good car control though.

Give me a 997 GT3 to play with for a little while and I'd give it a damn good go though

There was a link to part of this video posted here last week - apparently it's Stefan Roser, he of the white-socked showboat drifting the Yellowbird at the 'Ring fame.`Definitely doesn't look like he's using the fastest technique, but by god he's having fun!! Don't suppose he ever has to pay for the tyres either...

Adam, does Stefan still drive for RUF as well ? I'm not questioning your judgement, but can you be sure this is him driving ? My reason for asking is that this video, as previously mentioned, has been the subject of some "lively" debate on Rennlist.
