I've finally decided to realise a life long dream to own a 911 so i'm purchasing a new 997 Turbo.

My experience to date has in the main been with Audi dealers & more recently BMW as i've owned a few performance Audi's (2 x TT's, S8 & more recently the modified RS6 that graced VMAX a few times), i currently own a DMS 535D M-Sport which i'll be keeping until the Porker arrives in March 2008 (i'm enjoying the silly performance of the Bimmer, whilst saving vast sums of cash on the running costs which all go towards the 997).

Having never owned a Porsche before, i decided i'd be placing my order with Porsche Liverpol as their pretty much my nearest dealer, however i've been informed (cheers Dave), that OPC Liverpool do not have a great reputation & therefore if someone could point me in the direction of an A1 OPC in the North West, i'd much appreciate it.

I can cancel my order at any time & get my intial deposit refunded & the reason i'm only getting the car in March 2008 is my choice as that's when my finances should be at a level to fully afford such a vehicle & i've got a few other investments i need to make prior to forking out serious car money.

Thanks in advance.

Just checked & their's only Leeds, Chester & Wilmslow.

All about the same distance from my house. I called what was OPC Liverpool to state my purchase intention, reserve my sudo-slot & pay my deposit. Good job you mentioned they'd moved or i'd have driven down their in the next couple of weeks to discuss specifications & i'd have assumed they'd run off with my money

Which out of the local 3 above is percieved to have the best reputation & customer service??

Unless ur premiership footy player, then avoid wilmslow. Leeds cant comment on, but Chester have brand new premises and have a no pressure approach. Having said that I wouldnt want to buy from OPC as i dont want to pay for theri holiday in Barbados on the margin. But it is a 997 TT so u are limited as to where u can go.

Ian, i'm certainly no premiership footy player, not even a Sunday league player. I assume i have no option but to go through an OPC for a new 997TT? If that's the case, then i'll just leave things as they are. Actually doing my initial specification sometime over the next week or so (looks like i'll be going to Chester though not Liverpool
