Is this the first Monaro to be Zymol detailed or do any of you guys in here already use it. This baby took 7 hours to do and was fantastic when finished, shame the sun went in just as i was about to photograph it as the pics would have been even better.

Hi,
Glyn, it's my car, i never knew you were a member here! By the way, i must say cracking job! Its truly brought up the red. I'll highly recommend it to anyone who likes their monaro to be one very shiny beast!

Indeed I do seem to have some competition... finally! LOL! Except Big Nige who has done some nice stuff with Zaino. Yeah I use Zymol quite a lot but not on its own as it can't remove swirls or hide them very well either. Check out the Zymol competition I won: www.zdouk.com/CompetitionDetails.aspx?compDate=01/11/2005%2000:00:00

You should enter yours, that wasn't even a full detail, just a wash and coat of Destiny wax. I have done a major detail over the last couple of days, here is an example of some of the swirl removal I was working on using a Porter Cable with Poorboys SSR 2.5 (before I topped with Zymol). (note the line between swirled and de-swirled sections, paticulary noticeable on the boot lip).

Zymol's Ital Glaze is also very nice on Red paint (designed for Ferrari!), here is some examples of it:
