Anybody else on NTL broadband lost IP connectivity outside of the NTL network? - external web access still seems to work (but not HTTPS for some reason), but can not longer ping my IMAP mail provider or FTP to various bits of webspace. NTL technical support, b0llock jugglers of legend, appear to have given up and gone home.

I'm in Leicester, and got to online banking O.K. They are good at leaving secure access down for extended periods (screws up my ras to work).

Let me know site(s) you have problems with, and I can try it.

No HTTP access to https://webmail.tuffmail.net/

Can't FTP ftp.plus7minus5.co.uk

...and suddenly I can't reach bits of eBay.

Ah well - hopefully the bits of NTL that do
still work will stay up long enough for
me to sign up with a different provider
and finally tell NTL to stuff it

NTL do transparent proxying IIRC so that would explain why some web access is OK and everything else not.
