Is that Argento Alfa? I still think metallic black will be the colour.

I'm warming to the shape - front and back are good, front and back three-quarters are both great, but side-on....not so sure.

What are the stripey seats like in real life? I can see now what you meant by jam roly-poly with red leather, but with black leather it looks good.

It sure does look good, shame about the colour, or lack of it

Fixed glass roof. There is an electronic cover that slides across

So, whats the general opinion, is it better looking than the GT in the flesh?

They do a nice lively blue colour, what do you guys reckon??

Cheers

The Brera looks great and I'm sure it's a fine car, but I have a hard time thinking of it as the replacement to the GTV. It looks a bit too much like a hatch and not enough like a sports car.

IMHO an 8C with a 3.2 V6 would have been a worthy replacement - it didn't have to have the £65k price tag and 400bhp V8.

I love them but if it was a woman it would be asking you

"does my bum look big in this"

OK, just back from the Alfa dealer and the Brera is miles better in the metal than any photos I've seen of it - I'd previously always thought it looked a bit hefty towards the back. The only criticism of the styling is that the multi-spoke wheels are a bit busy for me.

Rear seats are still rubbish, but there's a worthwhile boot, and the glass roof is less of a gimmick than I thought.

The metal (effect?) on the centre console looks great, but sadly the car I saw had a dent in this already.

I'm really fond of my GTV, but the Brera seems a big step forward. They've got a black one coming in next week...

The centre console is real metal, like in the Lusso 159
