Correct battery and starting current for the V8S

Well its looks like I need a new battery after flattening it by leaving the interior light on. Charged it (perhaps not enough though)and engine turns very slowly but will not fire. All was fine till the recent cold spell. Looking at the markings it was first charged 06/2002 so nearly 4 years old so perhaps it was on its way out anyway. It states type 067 and 500A start current so is this correct for replacement, thanks?
