I was watching MTV this evening, waiting for Jackass as there was nothing else on and before it was what I thought WEEBLE and Bob, it was exactly the same as Weeble and Bob, same few sketches from the website but it was called, WOBBLE and Bob.

What is the significance of the name change, do people not know what a Weeble is and complained.

I think they had to change it for trademark issues

thought as much. It's amazing that they get away with the EXACT same content as on the site with just a name change.

Um - no, I think you missed the point. The Weebl & Bob site might even have issues - there was a kids toy called a Weeble several years ago, and I think this would be the sticking point with trademarks.

The Wobble & Bob (guessing here) probably is Weebl and Bob...

weebl & bob rule, I think the MTV things are in league with the original weebl web site as MTV was mentioned on there a while ago with regard to merchandising

How rare.

Preferred the original name, but remember that Weebles Wobble but never fall over.

Wonder what they are going to do about Oringina??!

"Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down" was the tag line...

Hmm - I have to admit to owning 7 bits of W&B clothing - and they don't do them any more - originals!
