Anybody know of a good place near Coventry/Warwick to get my Chim 450 on the rollers?

Obviously there's TVR Power in Cov, anybody had a car roaded there?

Want to check that everything is running tip top before Le Mans, probably needs a little tune as well. Let me know where you lot have taken yours if you are local and how much I can expect to pay for a session with a tune-up.

Preferably I would like to keep the miles down and use somewhere local, also somewhere that can do it on a friday afternoon or a saturday as my car is a daily driver.

There's one in Banbury, which is just down the road. Not sure the name though, you could always try yellow pages?

Take a trip to Thor Racing (www.thor-racing.co.uk) not strictly a rolling road as their device clamps to the wheel hubs but it does offer certain advantages like zero chance of tyre damage.

They've done my car a couple of times when I was setting up the nitrous oxide kit on it and they are only down the road, just a couple of miles from Balsall Common.

Thanks, think I'll give them a call. Do you know if they are familiar with the Rover V8?

I'm off there on WED'12th, for same reason as John. Let you know how I get on if you like?

Cheers, that would be good. It's obvious that they're competent just not sure whether or not it would be better to see a TVR/Rover V8 specialist.

Mac,
What are you having done?
What do you hope the outcome will be?
What sort of cost do you expect?
Some sensitive bits so e-mail me offline if you want.

They're setting up the NOS for me, progressive controller etc. Be interesting to see before and after for comparison.
