Battery cover keeps falling down

This has been happening ever since a garage pulled it out to show an other costumer something...

what holds it in place, is it the carpet at the top right hand side (mines un glued and I can't see where it sticks too)

Mines just an interference type of fit,if you leave the top too far towards the passenger seat in relation to the bottom of the board then it falls down easily,the trick seems to be to push the top in as far as poss on mine,then it never moves.

I found that fitting the top part of the panel first and then pushing the bottom bit home means that I can wedge in the panel much tighter.
