We just got back from a fantastic two weeks in Thailand. Some of the buildings, scenery and people make great subjects out there. So here's a few of my holiday pictures

and of course I couldn't go all that way without seeing James Bond Island

Excellent

My girlfriend is going back to Thailand for 3 weeks tomorrow to visit her family. Wish I was going with her, and your pictures have only emphasized this

How did you find the Phuket area?

Not as friendly as Chiang Mai, but still quite nice. Patpong was fun, with some nice bars etc.
I wasn't too thrilled with The Banyan Tree at Laguna, overpriced and not good value for money. Also too far away from Patpong, where the nightlife was. Phuket City was a bit of a let down, not much there really and mainly setup for the locals rather than any tourists. We did enjoy the trip upto Phang Nang Bay (spelling?) and James Bond Island.

Next time might try Koh Samui
