wowee, two hand signals in one day

I am amazed that I saw two people usng hand signals yesterday. One was a m bike stopped to trun right on a main road into a side road with his indiacators on and using his hand right turn signal. The other was a white van man, outrageous, I don't believe it! He had turned on to a slip road from a roundabout and was turning left into a side road off it. He was signalling left with his indicators and hand!

There is hope after all!

hi guys
i drive in central london daily . have found that hand signals really do help when forced into lane change over indicators.cabs, vans, lorrys and even bib.....do let you go. and no beeps toots swearing or other gestures. i think especially in the rain maybe a wet arm is impressing them lol
