OK so I got myself a 350D

Finally admitted that I needed a digital SLR as well. Bought secondhand off ebay. Must admit that the options are quite complex, its more than an entry-level machine if you ask me. Thought that it was designed around people with small hands though, I have no more than medium sized hands and I think its a bit small - the grip for the right hand is the problem. Drive mode and exposure compensation buttons are a bit too close together, and the display illumination button is hard to find in the dark ! Tried it out over the weekend and liked it so just got to get used to its foibles now. Wasn't too keen on taking it out in the weather today but did take a few proper test snaps other than of my feet or computer keyboard.



Got halfway through editing the last one and went off to clean the sensor. I can see I'm going to have to get used to the joys of digital SLRs...
