Tornado Evolution ECU

The section in the bible (“Adjustable Fuel Injection Computer” on page 381) talks about this unit, and as I’m going to do some engine mods (plenum/trumpets/inlet manifold) I’m either looking at getting a Mark Adams tornado chip and tune, or replacing the ECU for a programmable one at great cost.

The section in the bible seems to suggest this is an ECU with a remote for setting the fuelling at cruise and power.

A search on here and using Google hasn’t turned up any “Tornado Evolution ECU’s”, just Tornado chips.

Have I misunderstood something ?

there was a rovertec unit turned up on ebay recently .. have a chat to V8racing on here, he might know something about this subject.

thanks; I take it this is "old technology" compared with the emerald/omex etc units ?
