Front speakers sizes

Hi i was wondering if somebody could tell me the size of the speakers in the front doors and if anybody has any recommendations for what make to go for, if you have fitted new ones did they go in without any hassle? eg one out one in?

You need to make sure you get ones with medium sized magnets as the door lining has a hole for the magnet to sit in. Too big a magnet and it will hit this.

I belive they're 6.5" 16.5cm.

I have these in mine and they just fit.

one of my orginal ones is totally knackered so i thought i upgrade the fronts and add a sub to help with the low stuff

Are the standard speakers Pioneer? Also, does everyone have a 6x9 in the dash (under the stereo)?.. thought this would of provided enough bass?

I have a 6,9 in the centre dash! it dosnt help with bass but it seems to be more vocal, the tweeters in the doors give clarity and the sub in the centre gives good bass! but i have top notch rockford fosgate thru amps and if i have to be honest you will struggle for bose sound quality in a cerb! mine isnt in your face amazing

I've put a Genesis profile 4 amp in the boot. This powers the 10" sub (JL) and 6.5 Focal componant speakers imported from Australia.....half the price than over here, off ebay.

seen your install on your profile, looks very good did u build a box and slot it in or just a front panal? sizes would be very helpful

I built a box to fit into the hole. It was a bugger to do. Trial and error. I needed to get it as big as possible, volume wise, for the sub to work well. The box can be removed to get behind the seat.

you couldnt possible take it out and mail me some pics of it so i get an idea of what to build
