HI, I plan on rebuilding my front suspension fitting new ball joints and bushes.
Are ball joints tvr only items or not,and which is best between rubber and poly bushes.
I plan to fit new shocker`s all round later, tried Avo`s but did not like, was thinking of fitting Gaz ,any comment`s wecolme

Also could anyone recommend where to get parts

I'd make sure you can get lower ball joints before you tackle this one. I think they are off a LADA but there have been some problems getting the correct ones, even through the factory. I'd speak to your local specialist and see if they have resolved the supply issues before you try taking them appart.
Top ones are off a SAAB, I think BB's website will have details of exact models.

I've just put GAZ shocks on mine and they seem to be a quality product. I've not had it setup yet but even with a rough setup in the garage they feel much better and all the nasty knocking noises I had previously have now gone.

There appears to be a lot of ajustment on the damping from pram like to almost rigid - Happy with them so far.

Don't know about your ball joints,but the poly bushes are a very good upgrade,and much wiser than fitting the std ones again.As for the shocks,if you didn't like the avo's then i wouldn't bother with the Gaz stuff,as there both steel technology,and wont perform like a good alloy shock(i would choose avo's before Gaz).Next step up is the alloy Protech's which are about the same price as Gaz but much better spec and 3 yr gaurantee, and then your onto Nitrons which are about as good as it gets without going to megbucks type stuff,all depends on your budget really.I'd have a word with Julian atwww.track-car-solutions.co.uk .The last i heard he had a very good deal on the Protechs and poly bushes combined
