4.0 chim ...
Is it normal that the clutch slave cylinder should be preloaded on fitment?
On refitting it seems the piston needs compressing by approx 20+ mm before the securing bolts will reach the bell housing?
Is that the norm?
Cheers

Where do you get new seals? I've been quoted for a new cylinder cos the seals have gone.

I just ordered some yesterday and will come in tomorrow. I was given part number LK10629 which is a Delphi part number. Cost me £10.36 from my local motor factors. The first ones i tried couldnt get them but the second ones could get them.
