steering control diagnosed

Hi all! well i have the beast back and polished it yesterday! yipeee
But i got up yesterday morning all excited to take her out, to find head lights, main beam, indicators and wipers not working! ( and it was peeing it down)
So fortunatelly im an auto electrician, but unfortunatelly i was out side in the rain! Extremely peed off!
I removed the dash top and followed the steering wheel ribbon to a black control unit!
It was wet thru, due to a water leak! so i dried it out and repositioned it out of the way of the leak! cool that was my wipers, indicators and main beam back!
But still no head lights! so following the wiring to the boot area, i came across the headlight control module (on top of fuel tank) multi plug was burnt out! so i soldered the wires direct to the cicuitry! And bobs your uncle they worked!
So 1hour later i was back on the road!
The water leak can wait! haha
