Help on Purchasing a 97' Cerberra

Could anyone please help!

I have fallen in love with a Cerberra today from a small trade dealer, i am planning on taking the plunge tommorrow, what are the key things i should be looking for so not to end up with an £18000 dud???

My advise is never buy the first one you see. It's a buyers market out there. Also, check out the classified section on here as there are a couple listed within your budget. Good Luck.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs but if you do not know the cars then I would strongly recommend getting it inspected by a specialist or main dealer. The cost of this would be small compared to the cost if its a lemon. I'm sure there are plenty of Cerby owners on here, some maybe in your area that will be able to advise the closest one to you.
I do not think the likes of a RAC/AA inspectors are sufficiently experienced to give this type of car the detailed inspection that the above can.
Check where the car has been serviced, most main dealer service managers are civil and will normally remember cars that come through them and can sometimes give you an honest opinion of the car, particulary if its likely that you'll keep on using them .
I hope this helps in some small way, and all obviously IMHO.
