Problem with my Daffodils
Discussion
As gardening is now the in thing with Wedgers, I thought I might join in.
I have a problem with my Daffs, they all come up green and everything but no flowers, they have been like that for the last 2 years, do you think it is anything to do with me setting about them with my petrol strimmer in 2003 or the exhaust gases drifting out of the garage. Do I need to talk to em, stroke em, feed em with something, or should I just get the strimmer out and HACK THE BLOODY THINGS UP AGAIN ??

Perhaps you got too much snow and they suffered. If thats the case try one of these. This way the neighbours could hate you all year round!

www.v8snowblowers.com/haha, my Dad has always been a little 'touchy' about the dafadils in our garden!
Dont know why, we arent excatly gardeners, but for years he's been saying 'why dont we get nice daffadils like the rest of the road' all stalks and no bloom...
last year, we put some mega bulbs in and this year we had lots of daffadils! HORRAH (i hear you cry) although i got a petrol radio control buggy which i got out the other day...40mph decapitation on dafs right infront of my dad...
I did laugh!!! he didnt......

I know the problem with your daffodils that are coming up with just green and no yellow. they are the special ones that in horticultural circles are sometimes called GRASS.
What do you think ?
I think you may be right Dean, Does Steve heath do a bible for Daffs ??
and yes Gand I am sure Dickie would feel at home among that lot, and I am sure it must be Wales as it looks like its about to rain, again
. Two good things aboout Daffs, they are a sign of SPRING, and they dont last very long
(oh and they dont get on very well with petrol strimmers or monster RC trucks) >> Edited by badredwedge on Wednesday 5th April 07:42
