Anybody know much about them?
Ive come across one for sale and I have to say it looks very tasty. Im always wary of flatnoses, but I know there are folks on here far more in know about them than I. Info ppl? Ive had a look on the DP Zimmerman website and they seem extremely genuine and pukka...as in did I read it right, they are responsible the K3 Kremers ?
Help and advice very defo rewarded with a Beer and Pie if I buy

Try and get hold of Barry Smith ,Porsche car club , has chassis number and detail of most , as they were all special orders that mekes him a bit special too! Has a coupl of beauties himself
Ta muchly! Do we have a contact email for Barry?
Also here's a gratuitous flatnose pic

Seem to recollect that there was a very nice burgundy coloured DP935 in the Pinner area that may be for sale. Seemed to have all the body mods but none of the mechanicals.
Also a red one for sale a while ago at Autobahn - don't know the spec of that one.
They were both LHD cars.
It's correct that Barry Smith looks after the 930SE slant nose register for PCGB, and so knows which are the genuine Porsche factory cars, rather than these replicas.
As regards comments re slant nose lash ups - yes, there are more than a few around, but there are also a few good ones, particularly the DS935 cars, built by Dage Sport ( now G Force Motorsport )....and I should know because I've got one!

Please dont draw the wrong inference John , though i did live in Pinner many moons ago , i used to run parts to Dage on the way home from Charles Ivey's, John Greasly 's former computer company , i totally agree there are some good ones as well ..........but the majority tend to be very delicate !
Apologies Vic ....I wasn't drawing any specific inferences, just musing.
As for Dage Sport delicacy, I agree, particularly in respect of John Greasley's own white car, which had a superb understressed 3.5 litre 400bhp engine, but mated to a standard Carrera 5 speed box....and the lightweight GRP panels should really have stayed on the race track. But it really flew; it was the fastest car that Performance Car magazine had tested up to 1988, but with ratios that limited it to 164mph.
My own one is the civilised version: an all metal body, blueprinted engine and standard 4 speed box; goes well, and in Anthracite looks superb.

John ended up with one of my old 2.7 rs engines as the spare for that DAGE rallycross car he compaigned before they wud grant him a proper race licence, remember the trouble they took making up the meatl fronts for their flat noses and exceptional trouble they took , almost did it to my 3 0 ltr turbo at the time but had a bit of a windfall and went to my only ever new Porka at the time one of the 1 st 993 c2 ......i think i ve seen ur anthracite car on a couple of occasion , nice feelings of nostalgia when u see something done as well as that ..................

No you sound like a bloke who knows his stuff.
So, pukka DP 935 Flatnoses are the real thing then? If you can verify that it *is* a genuine DP/Kremer car. Im fairly sure Ive found a cracker, an '86, 1 owner from new, 450 horses bi turbo jobbie I think. Alas even the DP website doesnt say much about the street legal 935s !
