Well thats the general idea of the CG-lock that I have just bought - It allows you to lock the lap belt portion of your seatbelt in place, allowing the shoulder portion to operate normally thus holding the old glutimus firmly in place when you are being a bit spirited through the wiggly bits - However I appear to have the wrong type of belt "tongue" in that the belt passes through the tongue twice (once in each direction and is therefore not suitable. Herumph! It does however look such a good idea that I would like to know where to get the right sort of belt (the drivers belt is slightly frayed anyway)But have no idea what type of make belt I have fitted and who might make the right sort that would fit my 93 Chimaera - Anyone any ideas? Now come along, All stick your tongues out so I can look!!

It does work with the double pass belt hook. I did a trial of two versions and both work. The standard unit needs to be fitted to the belt hook in a different way. See my report and photos on the other thread
