Fellas,
With permission from the owner, I have the pleasure of posting some pics of Flamespitter's 993 GT2 Evo. It's the car he bought from that guy in the Prodigy, but it is now a completely different car underneath, lots of choice modifications. Now a very serious car indeed, no expense spared. Don't you just love it?

I've got a video of the car somewhere being driven down an airfield. Think it was on either fifth or top gear a few years ago.

The opening shot for that clip on TG, where the car mysteriously and silently moves as Tiff appears in the frame talking about the normally sacreligious act of modifying 911s, was brought about courtesy of a deft shove...thank goodness for the wholesome goodness of three weetybrix

The car was good to start, but he has made it much btter, essentially to the spec of a 993 GT2 Evo race car, factory spec. It's just like the machines that raced at Le Mans. The same couldn't really be said of the Gemballa cars I believe. Flamespitter will be along in a sec to fill us in I hope.

I was thinking about this car only the other day. Maybe 5 years ago I saw it on the public highway, I was shocked at what such an obviously track orientated car was doing in suburbia, and was intrigued whether it was a Gt2 or modified racer. Ive answered that question, and also guessed it was owned by a Prodigy memeber as he is/was known to live locally. As if you couldnt guess its road presence was amazing.

Is this the car that was based on a genuine 993RS ? - Gemballa made it to GT2 EVO look with lots of lightweight panels which was great and then stuck in a TTP (Lotec) 600hp engine based on the stock 993RS motor.
I remember seeing the car when it was in for work, not producing the 600hp. The motor ran a very rudimentary fixed boost control valve and had a fairly unconvincing intercooler. After repair it ran 580hp on a chassis dyno.
Tiff blew a turbo during that frolicking for TV and I believe the insurance paid up for a nice rebuild.
The car looks very serious now - looks like a proper 993tt engine in there now, and is that a Secan intercooler ?
