lense attachment for video camera to film from outside car

Firstly, check your camcorder has AV in, without it a bullet camera won't work.
As for a bullet camera, well, it depends on how you are going to be viewing the footage, if it is for web or for small screen then a 420tvl bullet is just fine, if it's going to be viewed on a larger screen then 480 or 520 tvl is better.
The 520 in particular is superb. We sell a 580 as well, but to be honest it is overkill for most people, simply because the average camcorder will record at a lesser quality anyway.
Next thing to consider are lenses - they are easy to change, so go for a selection. Something like a 2.97 for interior shots of yourself, a 4mm for you and looking outside, and an 8mm for outside shots (car to car).
Lastly, take a look at the mounts. A good suction mount will be fine (depending on what car you have and the intended use), the bullet cameras have a 1/4" screw thread in the back of the unit which means they can be used with any mount designed for a camera/camcorder.
I tried to e-mail you with more details, but I think you need to update it.
