Hey all!
Im picking up my first Cerb on Sat, although it looks well looked after and seems to be in great condition I just wondered what basic tools people carry with them, i.e: most handy size spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc.
Im sure ive read a similar post in the past but can't find it anywhere!

Oil pressure relief switch, clutch, starter motor, AA card, Hertz car rental membership card & A bucket for extracting the water when it rains.

RAC membership. Tried fixing cars on the side of the road and have lost the top of my finger trying to get a heavy fuel tank out on a car with an internal fuel pump.

Nowadays I'm quite happy to fork out for a decent heated garage with a two post lift and all the tools you could ever want plus a get you home RAC membership each year.

I'll still majorly quids in compared to dealer prices.

I think many people carry a spare 100amp fuse, a few other fuses, some bulbs and occasionally a spare throttle cable.

anything else takes REAL dedication and rather a lot of knowledge!

A visa card to fill her up and a breakdown membership card just in case.

Cable ties, duck tape, rainex, 100 amp fuse and various fuses, wire stripper/crimper and a halfords special variety tool set.
