For such a loud, noisy car the wedge horn is not very butch. Anyone have a better solution to change it? Used to have air horns on an MGB years ago, but I hated the lag when operating them

Check you aint got one of the wires off the dual horns. TVR mounted a lot of the horns upside down so the connectors work themselves loose.

I can see a new competition taking place at BBWF - along the lines of 'How Loud is Your Wedge?' - loudest and juiciest horn.

A sort of 'How Horny Are You?' contest!

I had air horns on my 1st car (850 Mini) never noticed a delay so maybe you had a lazy compressor on yours. I was getting squeezed out of my lane on the M4 by a van (who I think genuinely hadn't seen me) a quick blast of the air horns and the van about lept of the road. Laugh, I nearly wet myself
Air horns aren't legal of course but you have to get caught using them. I doubt there are insurance ramifications but you can make your own bed to lie in!
