Company motorcycle/ which way is best?
Discussion
I have a company motorcycle.
For a start, you can recover all or most of the VAT on a new or ex-demonstrator bike, assuming that you are VAT registered. You can also put the running costs through the business and recover VAT on fuel and running costs etc.
As for benefit in kind etc, I'm sure that our expert will be along soon to help you there.
One point though, not many companies are keen to insure your company owned bike so ensure that you can get cover for your needs and that the bike is insured in your company's name.
