I don't know about min vs a CGT, I've never driven one or been in a situation to compare against one. All I can say is mine is a quite quick car and probably more practical, although it will never have the throttle response of a n/a engine or the howl of a V10 or be an uber-exotic like the CGT.
We had a bizarre serious of minor problems with the car which are now resolved. A few weeks ago the car suddenly felt slower and rougher, Andy @ Weltmeister diagnosed a potential air-leak in the inlet or MAF/Lambda problems (I had managed to damage one Lambda on the outside). He therefore replaced the MAF/Lambdas at my behest and the Ruf inlet hoses with new ones from Ruf and the car was back on-song again. He then fitted some uprated boost pipes from a US Supplier that I had sourced (the supplier will remain nameless currently until I have resolved it with them) and then when it ran again on road and dyno it was just not quite right and felt sluggish (as per the Stuttgart 9s dyno Day last weekend). Turns out these US boost hoses were not sealing correctly as the ends were not correctly machined and were therefore leaking boost. Now it's back to standard Porsche boost hoses and the car is back to normality ie road-monster.......

Thanks Guy. I'll pick up a set of the Evoms valves when I'm out there at the end of the month. Although my indie said he thought it was unlikley this is the cause of not seeing more than 0.7bar, I think it's a worthwhile upgrade. Also considering whether there will be enough room in my suitcase for discs...
