Hi Guys.
First nice day of the year, sun shining, reasonable temp. Roof off Elise, and go for a drive. Coming off a dual carriageway, and onto single, round a bend, and a cop car parked in a layby on the opposite side of the road. No camera signs, and it wasn't a scamera van, just a Vauxhall Frontera, with 2 cops in. They obviously clock the Elise coming the other way, with sports zaust whaling. Anyway, what are the chances that the cop car was lasering cars, or just watching traffic? If I was exceeding speed limit, would they have not given chase? Worry got the better of me a mile or so down the road, so sturned around and went back to see if they were just waiting to pull out layby or were indeed parked up. They were still there with both windows wound down. I did notice a greasy cafe in the layby, and it was lunch time, if that counts for anything. My Origin B2 did not indicate anything either.

Been worrying about it all day. I know I shouldn't be speeding, but the first day of nice weather, first day with roof off etc, made my right foot a little heavy.

Cheers,

Ed.

Speeding's fine as long as it isn't dangerous... And you weren't caught. If they took displeasure at your speed they would have let you know. Sounds like you caught them on a doughnut break

Just wait 14 days for that brown envelope, to know for sure if you are in the clear.
