Wide track 348!
Discussion
A customer of mine has just been stopped by the Police because, he has fitted spacers to to the rear wheels of his Ferrari 348, which (in the words of the constabulary) bring the wheels slightly outside the arches.
He has been told to go to an MOT station to have the car rectified and a letter of acceptance obtained to confirm that it has been done.
Is this right.
I have seen his car, and if you want to be very picky, the wheels probably protrude by a couple of millimetres at most.

Yup
BIB pulled me ** years ago cos the spacers on my MK1 sprite pushed the 4 inch wide wheels outside the line of the body work , handled like a barge as well, anything over 40 mph set it all a -vibrating. On reflection I recall the spacers being wider than the wheels
