As it's rapidly approaching and I'm starting to prep the Vette for this years trip I wondered if anyone from here is taking their Vette this year?

My first road trip in the C5 was to Le Mans last year and despite creasing it on the armco near Calais it was a great tour.

I'm heading down from Sheffield on the Wednesday 14th, overnighting in WGC and then catching the 07.30ish ferry from Dover - can't go on the Chunnel again, it's not wide enough.

Camping at Maison Blanche.

Is there anything organised - apart from the usual Arnage on Friday stuff?

It would be good to meet up. I'm heading down in convoy with a '70 Dodge Charger 500.

There will probably be plenty more on the day, also check CCCUK site for more details.

See you there.

Looking ahead, where do Corvette owners normally stay. Any particular hotel / campsite etc?

I saw mention that Corvette laid on some hospitality last year, anything lined up for this year
or any meetings planned?

I stayed in the same hotel with the Corvette team in 2004 (by chance) and a great bunch of guys
they were too.
