Here we go again!!

Managed to get the new engine running, but had to abort due to it making an impression of a steam loco. Found it to be the new core plugs. Tryed to start it again, but it run for a couple of minutes then stalled. Ummmmm! Now today it stalls after 5 secs. What the !!
Petrol,sparks, checked fuses and relays briefly, but still no good. Will have to go thru the whole lot again. Bugger!
I know its the usual thread - but - HELP..........ta butties!

You hopefully have enough coolant in there (and probably will). As when not enough the coolant temperature sensor can be in an 'air bubble' causing to not inject enough fuel to continue to run (= very lean for a cold engine....). Long shot I know.
Air bubble can also be caused by not being able to get all air out of the wedge coolant system (=they all do that sir type of problem).

Ah! . Will give that a try first. Would slightly undoing sensor let the air out?

Don't know, as haven't come across this method of bleeding the coolant system..... (new procedure?) You can do a search on this, but myself would fill via the cap on the pipe towards the radiator and squeezing the large hoses until no bubbles appear. Should do the same trick without removing the difficult to get at coolant temp sensor. It is not good enough to bleed the whole system, but asume that it will get you going to avoid the sensor being in air only.
