BRAKE SERVO!

Can anybody help me, i need a new brake servo for a 1988 350, must have rung over 20 people to try and find out what car the servo is off and where i might find one, i would be grateful for any help as i am desperate to get her back on the road...

I am not really sure what car it's off but if I were to take a guess it would be a Cortina. Have you tried TVR Car Parts.com, RT Racing, Tower View, David Gerald, Douglas Valley Breakers?

Mine went recently. The garage had to speak to girling with the casting numbers off the cylinder to identify the part, then get a motor factors to order it.

Hi,
There were two types fitted.A chubby average diameter one and on some cars a shorter one which is of larger diameter. I have the latter which was on a late 280 FHC. The RH inner wing had a slight champfer on it to get it to fit which I don't know if it was standard. You can call me on 07712106160 and we can do a deal.

thanks for your help, it sounds like is a giring which i believe is off a cortina, i have found a place that has classic ford parts and it sounds like all the dimensions and fixings are the same so fingers crossed when it comes next week it will do the job and the beast can be unleashed on the roads again....
